Warner became the bride of Willey O. Himes of Enosburg Falls Vermont. It was a very quiet wedding and only members of the families of the contracting parties were present at the home of W. W. Warner, brother of the bride, 909 South Warren Avenue, when Rev, Dr. J. T. Oxtoby spoke the words which made the happy young couple man and wife. There were no attendants, the ceremony being made as simple as possible. It was performed beneath an archway separating the front parlor from the sitting room and the couple stood directly under a horseshoe of white daisies, which was suspended from wreathing of clematis in bloom. All the decorations of the interior were of the flowers, which were in bloom in the garden outside, and the air was filled with the fragrance of the many colored nasturtiums and the sweet peas. In the parlor the nasturtium reigned supreme, while in the sitting room a pretty effect was had with asters. The dining room was profusely decorated in sweet peas, and very pretty indeed it looked. Sweet peas were also used for favors at table. The bride wore a beautiful dress of white silk and carried a bouquet of white sweet peas. Following the ceremony an excellent dinner was served and in the afternoon the young couple left on a wedding trip. They received many and beautiful presents. Mrs Himes is a well-known teacher and for some time has occupied the responsible position of assistant principal of the Emerson school. She has many friends in the city. Mr. Himes is a progressive young businessman. Guests from out of the city were Mrs E. B. Moore, North Yakima, Washington, Miss Himes, Buffalo, and Mr and Mrs Rosenbranz, Auburn, Michigan.
