1900 Photo of the Pottowatomie Indian Cemetery in Cross Village Michigan.  In  
the background is the First Presbyterian Church.  This cemetery is inactive 
and nothing remains to mark the site.

In 1918 a devastating fire swept through Cross Village destroying 5 large 
stores, the post office, hotel, about 25 homes and the Presbyterian Church. A 
stone church was rebuilt and named Redpath Memorial Presbyterian Church after 
the Rev. John Redpath.
