See obit below Additional Comments: Was Pioneer Petoskey Bazaar Owner and Operator. Went West Two Weeks Ago A telegram from the secretary of the Elks lodge at Phoenix Ariz., Friday forenoon brings word that Vartan Guleserian, Petoskey bazaar owner and operator, died in that city Friday morning. He had left Petoskey about two weeks ago. His condition at that time was not considered critical. Mr. Guleserian had been a Petoskey resident for close to thirty years and during that time operated one of the largest bazaars of its kind in the state. He belonged to the Elks, the Knights of Pythias and the four Masonic bodies in Petoskey, to Saladin temple Mystic Shrine and Dewitt Clinton Consistory in Grand Rapids Michigan. Arrangements for the funeral through his nephews, Vaughn Guleserian here and Dickron M. Gulenserian, who is at present in New York, have not been completed. The body will be brought back to Petoskey.
