ALBRO died at his house at No. 706 Payne Street, Thursday morning of a complication of diseases. He was born at Newport, R.I., about 86 years ago, and has lived in this county fifty-four years. For several years he was engaged in farming at Mt. Morris, and when a young man he was engaged in the manufacture of hats in New York City. He leaves a wife and four children, viz: MRS. CHARLES EATON of this city (***note: MARGARET (ALBRO) EATON); JARVIS E. ALBRO of Mt. Morris; MRS ANN GUSSENE of Harrison (**** NOTE: should read MRS. OLIVER GOSINE, or ANNA (ALBRO) GOSINE); and JAMES of Duluth, MN. The funeral will be held from the house this morning at 10:30 a.m.; and the remains will be interred in the Mt. Morris Cemetery. The deceased was a man of much more than ordinary ability. He was genial and compassionable and leaves a large circle of friends." Additional Comments: RODMAN W. ALBRO married SUSAN HARPER in Nantucket, MA in 1834. She predeceased him in 1876. Both she and RODMAN are buried in the Mt. Morris Cemetery with many family members. RODMAN married MARY JANE (?) whom he was married at the time of his death.
