OBITUARIES - from the Flint Journal, 11 January 1972 page not known
 
Adams, Lloyd J. - 5038 Berneda, age 62, died Tuesday, January 11, 1972 at St. Joseph 
Hospital.Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Mt. Vernon Chapel, Brown Funeral 
Home, Rev.Donald E. Hall officiating.  Burial in Millington Cemetery.  Mr. Adams will lie in state at 
the Brown Funeral Home, 1616 Davison Rd. Mr. Adams was born in Lapeer, August 7, 1909 and 
had been a resident of Flint nearly his entire life.  He married Estelle Gibson at Flint in 1935.  Mr. 
Adams attended Central High School, member of Genesee County Radio Club and retired as a 
pyrometer man in the Metalurgical of Chevrolet Manufacturing in February, 1970 after 42 years of 
service.  Surviving are: Wife, Estelle M.; 2 sons, Larry L, and Gary W., both of Flint; 3 
grandchildren; 4 brothers, Harold of Hale, Loren of Flint, Edwin of Alpena and Merle of Holly; 
several nieces and nephews.
