Flint Journal - August 1980
BUYTAS, Steve, 2401 W. Southern, Tempe, Arizona, age 72, died Friday, August 
29, 1980 at the Tolfree Hospital, West Branch, Michigan.  Funeral Mass will be 
held at 9 AM Tuesday at St. Marys Catholic Church, Rev. Fr. Henry W. 
Berkemeier officiating.  Burial in New Calvary.  Rosary will be recited 7 PM 
Monday.  

Mr. Buytas was born in Detroit, Michigan, July 15, 1908.  He celebrated his 
50th Wedding Anniversay with his wife last year.  He was employed by AC Spark 
Plug for 44 years, retiring January 31, 1969.  Surviving are:  wife, Anna, 
brother, Joseph Buytas of Flint, sister Mrs. Irene Chendes of Tempe, Arizona; 
several nieces and nephews.
