John M. "Jack" Carey, 82 of Plant City, Fl. and formerly of Grand Blanc, Mich., 
passed away August 4, 2007. Preceded in death by Son, Thomas. Survivors: His 
Wife of 59 years, Milly; Son, John (Beverly) Carey; Daughters, Janice (Peter) 
Privateer and Marcia (Stuart) Ellison and 10 Grandchildren. Jack's life is 
highlighted by His distinguished service to His community and to Veterans. He 
served as Mayor of Grand Blanc (1969-1977 and 1981-1984). He was past National 
Commander of the American Legion (1978-1979). Memorial Mass 10 am. Monday, 
August 13, at St. Clements Catholic Church in Plant City, Fl.
