Obituary - Flint Journal, Monday, October 18, 1954, page 24

CENTER - Ida M. Center, 730 E. Whitherbee Street, age 84, died Sunday, October 17, 
1954 at Hughson Convalescent Home, 708 Stone St.  Funeral services will be held at 1 
p.m. Wednesday, October 20, 1954 from Rose Chapel, Algoe-Gundry Mortuary.  Rev. 
Kenneth Hoffmaster officiating.  Burial the Pine Tree Cemetery, Corunna, Mich.  Body 
will be at the mortuary.  She was born in Lebanon, New Hampshire, October 14, 1870, 
daughter of Chauncy A. and Mary S. Hatch, had been a resident of Flint for 22 years.  
Surviving are: 5 brothers, Ernest Hatch, John Hatch, Charles Hatch, all of Flint, Josiah 
Hatch of Detroit, Walter Hatch of Door, Mich.;  several nieces and nephews.
