DRURY - Elmer Drury, 949 McQueen St., age 56, died Saturday, October 16, 1954.  
Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, October 20, 1954 from Colonial 
Chapel, Reigle Funeral Home, 2417 S. Saginaw St, Rev. Herbert Thompson officiating.  
Burial in Crestwood Memorial Gardens.  Body will be at the funeral home.  He was born 
in Michigan September 19, 1895.  Mr. Drury was employed at Consumers Power Co. for 
17 years.  Surviving are: Wife, Laura; 2 sons, Douglas and Elmer Eugene Drury, both of 
Flint: 2 daughters, Miss Jessie J. Drury and Miss Margaret Ellen Drury, both of Flint; 4 
brothers, Cliffe of Birch River, Manitoba, Canada, Richard and Bligh, both of Mt. 
Morris, Alva of McBain:  several nieces and nephews, aunt, Mrs. Ellen King of Grand 
Rapids; uncle, Mr. Richard Hunter of Owosso.
