Kearsley St., McFarlan Home, age 89, died Thursday, June 9, 1949 at Hurley Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 3:30 P.M. Saturday, June 11, 1949 from the Dodds-Dumanois Co. Chapel. Rev. Emerald Dixon officiating. Burial in Avondale Cemetery. Deceased will be at Dodds-Dumanois Co. Funeral Home. Death was due to a long illness. She was born in Strathroy, Ontario, Sept. 19, 1839 and lived in Flint and vicinity practically all her life. She was a member of Kearsley Methodist Church. Surviving are niece: Mrs. Harry Stanard of Saginaw, Mich; 6 nephews, William Cranston, Seth and Hugh Wicker of Detroit, John and Archie Cranston and George Rothfuss of Flint; several great nieces and nephews including Mrs. Phillip Volkmer of Flint.
