Flint Journal June 1987
Age 94, Died June 15, 1987. Services at Brown Funeral Home, 1616 Divison Rd. 
Rev. Carl Petty officiating. Burial in Gracelawn Cemetery. Born August 22, 
1892 in Tennessee. He lived in Flint, MI since 1917. Was employed by Chevrolet 
Manufacturing for 38 years, retiring in 1957. Surviving are: son, James R. 
(Bob) and wife Dorothy L. King of Lennon, MI. 3 Daughters, Margaret and 
husband George Bearup of Flint, MI. Betty Maxfield of Flint, MI. Virginia and 
husband Don Greising of Holland, MI. Step-son Jack and wife Arlene Curns of 
Flint, MI. 16 Grandchildren, 25 Great-Grandchildren, 7 Great-Great 
Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by wives, Alma M. Morrissette and Lois.

Additional Comments:
I have included the maiden name of his first wife Alma. Also included is 
Dorothy King's middle initial.
