Flint Journal - 17 March 1953
LANPHIERD - Neta Lanphierd, 727 S. Saginaw St., Lapeer, Mich, age 61 died
Sunday, March 15, 1953, at Lapeer County convalescent Hospital.  Funeral
services will be held at 2 P.M. Wednesday, March 18, 1953, from the
Methodist Church, Davison, Mich., Rev. Paul Hart and Rev. R. J. Button
officiating. Burial in Davison Cemetery   Mrs. Lanphierd will lie in state
at Groves & Co. Memorial Chapel, Davison, Mich., until noon Wednesday after
which she will be taken to the Methodist church to lie in state until time
of services.  Death was due to complications following an illness of 3
months.  She was born in Davison Township, Jan. 16, 1892 daughter of Edward
and Charrie Groves, lived in Lapeer and Genesee Counties all of her life.
Surviving are: Husband, Clyde Lanphierd; mother, Mrs. Charrie Groves of
Lapeer, Mich., sister, Mrs. Arthur Barber of Lapeer, Mich.; brother, Clyde
Groves of Oxford, Mich., several nieces and nephews.
