Obituaries from the Clare County Cleaver, Harrison, MI, l2-7-2000

Arlene McGilvery, age 86, of Flint, went home to be with the Lord on
November 27, 2000.  Funeral Services were held on Thursday, November 30,
2000 at the Brown Funeral Home, 1616 Davison Rd.  Pastor Robert Koch
officiating.  Burial was at Flint Memorial Park.  Memorial contributions
may be made to the Humane Society.
      Mrs. McGilvery was born July l, 1914 in Clare County, MI, the
daughter of John and Lillian (Cutler) Cook.  She married Carl Coleman
who predeceased her and then married Howard McGilvery, who also
predeceased her. She was a retired employee of A.C. Spark Plug.
      Surviving are:  twin sister, Ina Jubar; brothers, Gerritt (Doc)
Cook and wife Elva.  She also leaves a host of dearly loved nieces and
nephews.
