OBITUARY - Flint Journal, Monday, October 18, 1954, page 24

McKAY - Martin W.McKay, Hollywood, Fla., age 52, died Friday, October 15, 1954 at 
Hollywood, Fla.  Funeral services will be held at 3:30 P.M. Thursday, October 21, 1954, 
from Chapel of the Chimes, Brown Funeral Home, Rev. H. W. Colensa officiating.  
Burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery. Mr. McKay will lie in state at the Brown Funeral Home, 
1616 Davison Rd., after 6 p.m. Tuesday.  Death was sudden due to a heart attack.  He 
was born in West Branch, Mich. July 14, 1902, lived in Flint for 22 years before moving 
to Florida.  Surviving are: 2 sisters, Mrs. John Darling of Davison, Mrs. Roy Deray of 
Topeka, Kansas; brother, Donald McKay of Flint:  several nieces and nephews.
