PEA - Mrs. Maggie Pea, 1115 Hickory St, age 62, died Thursday, June 9, 1949 
at the residence.  Funeral arrangements will be announced later by the 
Robinson & Chandler Funeral Home.  She was born in Raleigh, N.C., April 29, 
1897, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mack Gilchrist.  Resident of Flint 25 years. 
Member of Macedonia Baptist Church.  Surviving are: 2 daughters, Mrs. Gussie 
Stafford, Miss Alice Pea; 3 sons, Horace, Eddie and Robert Pea; brother, 
Willie Gilchrist; 5 grandchildren, all of Flint; 6 sisters, Mrs. Ada Tucker, 
Mrs. Viola Phillips, Mrs. Annabel Hopkins, all of McRae, Ga., Mrs. Alberta 
Fuller, Mrs. Gussie Jones, St. Petersburg, Fla., Mrs. Mabel Maddox, Darby, 
Pa.; many other relatives.
