Funeral services will be held at 10 AM Saturday at the Brown Funeral Home, 1616 Davison Rd., Fr. Sylvester L. Fedewa officiating. Burial in Flint Memorial Park. Scripture service will be held at 8 PM Friday at the funeral home. Mrs. Poirier was born in Flint, November 26, 1918 and resided in Flint her entire life. She was a member of the Flint Power Squadron Auxiliary. She and her husband were former owners of the Motor City Roofing and Siding Inc. Surviving are: husband, J. Robert; 4 children, Judith Meyer and husband, Donald, Barbara Novak and husband, Anthony all of Flint; Larry Mitchell and wife, Joan of Davison, Pamela Hanshaw and husband, Jack of Flint; 9 grandchildren; 1 great-grandson; 4 step-children; 6 step-grandchildren; 3 brothers and 3 sisters, Hugh M. Dean of Naples, Florida, Harry Dean of Fenton, Paul A. Dean of Flint, Jessie Hoover of Birch Run, Ann Marshall and Josephine Hamilton both of Flint; nieces, nephews and other relatives.
