The Flint Daily News, Genesee County, Monday, March 20 1899

Mrs. Sarah Ann Stark died yesterday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Carrie
 Hill, in Owosso, of the infirmities of age. Besides the daughter named she 
leaves another daughter, Mrs. Ella Sowles, and three sisters, Mrs. E.U. 
Jennings, of this city; Mrs. E. Courts, of Flint township, and Mrs. C. 
Cartwright, of Davison. The remains will be brought to this city on Wednesday 
morning for burial at Whigville at 2 o’clock in the afternoon.
