Stone, Former Chevrolet Employee Stricken by Apoplexy Earle B. Stone, 47 years old was stricken by heart disease last night whole attending the annual ball of the Woman’s Hospital auxiliary, in the Hotel Durant. His funeral will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday at his home, 2256 Nolan Dr., under the auspices of Genesee Lodge, No. 174 F. &A.M. Mr. Stone who had been employed with the parts and service department of the Chevrolet Motor Co, since 1911 was with his wife when stricken. He fell,unconsonsious as he was standing near the door of the hotel ballroom and died within minutes. The body was removed to the Groves & Co. Funeral Home. A lifelong resident of Flint he had been a prominent member of the Mason lodge, St. Paul Episcopal church and the Bay City Elf Khurafeh temple. Beside his wife, he leaves two daughters, Kathryn and Maize at home, a sister Mrs. F.W. Howard of Saginaw and one brother Irving Stone of Flint. Mr. Stone was born on February 23, 1883 the son of Mr. and Mrs. Dwight Stone. He was married on May 27, 1908, to Bessie E. Weimer daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John W. Weimer of Flint, Michigan.
