THIESE, DOROTHY M.; of Clarkston; August 28, 2011; age 93. Preceded in death 
by her husband, Leonard "Pete"; mother of Judy (Bill) Flanigan and Linda (Ron) 
Broughman; grandma of Shannon (Monty) Thompson, Brian (Jenn Prusak) Broughman 
and Mike Broughman; great grandma of Fremont and Allison; sister of Lorraine 
Horst. Funeral Service Friday 12:30 p.m. at the Lewis E. Wint & Son Funeral 
Home, Clarkston where friends may visit Thursday 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. 
Interment White Chapel Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Michigan.

Dorothy Thiese is married to Leonard (Pete) Thiese and is related (through 
marriage)  to August Thiese of 2526 Lawndale, Flint, Mi. August Thiese 
biography and obit can be found on the Genesee County Genweb site.  Esther 
Thiese, Stella Thiese Kelly, and William Thiese would be August Thiese's 
children living in the Flint area.  Stella and Esther Thiese also have 
biographies on the Genesee County Genweb site. Dorothy Thiese was a fantastic 
artist who loved to paint dishes and ceramics.
