The Flint Journal, December 1942
ZIMMERMAN-Minnie Caroline Zimmerman, 630 E. Hobson Ave., age 73, died 
Thursday, Dec. 24, 1942, at Hurley hospital. Funeral services will be held 2 
p. m., Saturday, Dec. 26, 1942, from the Emanuel Lutheran church, Avenue A; 
Rev. B. J. Westendorf officiating. Burial in Union cemetery. Remains will be 
at the home of daughter, Mrs. Charles Klier, 630 E. Hobson. Arrangements by 
Groves & Co. Funeral Home. Death was caused by complications after an illness 
of seven weeks. She came to Flint 32 years ago from Bay City. Surviving are: 
Three daughters, Mrs. Anna Kirbitz, Mrs. Ella Peterson, Mrs. Helen Klier, all 
of Flint; two sons, Adolph of Richfield, Fred of Flint; 17 grandchildren; four 
great-grandchildren; sister, Mrs. Amelia Zimmerman, of Richfield; two 
brothers, Fred and William Passow of Ann Arbor, Mich.

Additional Comments:
Two sons, Walter F. & Albert C. preceded her in death.
