August Thiese and his great grand son Kelly D. Wernette at 2526 Lawndale, 
Flint, Michigan.  The picture was taken at the home of Frank and Stella Kelly. 
Stella Thiese Kelly was August Thiese daughter whom he lived with from 1936 to 
1950.  He died in Flint but was buried in Alexandria South Dakota.  August was 
a farmer who lived in Gutternburg Iowa, Postville Iowa, Alexandria South 
Dakota, and White Lake South Dakota before comming to live in Flint Michigan. 
While in Flint August could visit his daughters Stella and Esther as well as 
sons Lenaard and Wilford all living in the Flint area.
