Merritt A Crossman, father, born Oct 27, 1851, died Sept 17, 1918.  This stone
is in the north section beside the large Merritt A- Alice Sophia monument.  

Additional Comments:
Merritt married 1st Lydia Mathews  before 1874 and probably had all of his
children by her. (Lydia was the daughter of William Mathews, she d. 1881 and is
buried in Cottage Cemetery.)  Merritt married 2nd Julia Davis Reynolds in 1882
Tuscola Co she died 1884 and he married third  1885 in Tuscola Co, Ellen Wells
(possibly the same as Hellen in 1900 census)
