Co G, 8 Mich UV Inf (Civil War) On an obelisk in the 23rd row from the back of the north central section. He is the only one on the stone. Additional Comments: Edson Langley is the son of James and Ann Langley who were born in Vt, lived for a time in Canada and were in St Clair Michigan in 1850. James and some of his children came to Richfield before 1860. Edson and his wife Susannah lived in Richfield and had 7 children, including Mina and Byon who are buried in this cemetery. Susannah married Marcus Wood in 1879 and moved to Tuscola Co with her children. About 1890 she moved to Oscoda, Mi where she was listed in the census as Susannah Langley and is living with some of her children. She may have died there.
