All you can see of this stone is LTER McTUT.  The rest is underground.  The
stone is next to Mary Ann McTuttle.  M. Perry read this stone in 1965 and he
reads: Walter McTuttle d. Jan 1, 1875 52 years.

Additional Comments:
I found a W M C Tuttle  b. 1822 NY (ran a sawmill) in the 1870 census of Lapeer,
Mi.  He was married to a Mary A b. 1836 Can who I suspect is our man.  He had 4
children all born in Canada.  I suspect the family soon dropped the Mc and just
used Tuttle.  I found no records for McTuttle.
