Louisa L Murdock died Jun 2, 1860, age 42. Short red headstone, dates now
underground (reading taken from M Perry 1965).  Stone most likely remade because
it is not the usual style for the period.

Additional Comments:
Louisa died close to the 1860 census, so I thought that her family might still
be in Genesee County.  Samuel Murdock 46 with children Oscar, Edwin, Elwin and
Emma dis live in Richfield.  When I checked 1850 I found Samuel with wife Louisa
and the same children in Hillsdale Co.  In 1870, I found that Samuel had
remarried but still had some of the same children with him in St Joseph Co.  He
also had the same profession- painter.
