It is near the north entrance road. Other Schweizer stones are in row 36 and 37, also the north section. The oldest members, Jacob and Anna Catherine are buried here. This row consists of the obelisk, the 4 white stones on either side and the 2 red low stones in the foreground. Additional Comments: The family came from Germany before 1850 (see Amherst, Erie, NY "Sweitser" or "Sweetser". Then were in Atlas 1860, and Richfield 1870. The name is rarely spelled Schweitzer by the census, usually Sweetser, Sweitzer, Switzer and other variations.
