Mary Ann Kluss, b. in Germany Jun 14, 1830, d. Sep 18, 1896. Monument with Kluss on top. Plants grow up and cover the writing by June 1. There are also mother and father headstones on the plot and a stone for Cecil Dickinson. Julius Kluss (Cluss) was the son of Julius Kluss (DR) and came to America by 1852 from Prussia (1870c). Julius was a wagon or carriage maker. They lived in Detroit 1860, Ohio in 1861, Oxford, Oakland in 1870, Hadley, Lapeer in 1880, 1910 in Battle Creek with daughter Helen Proctor, and died in Detroit Dec 6, 1920 (DR, sent to Flint for burial. Mary Steinhauser (Julius DR) was born in Saxony (1870 c). She married Julius Kluss before 1853. They have 3 daughters buried in Tanner, Julia Dunakin and Hellen Proctor and probably Cecilia Dickinson (see Cecil Dickinson).
