CARL A. ALLEN (18 MARCH 1908 - 16 JAN 1973)
Carl A. Allen, 64, died Tuesday, January 16, at Kenosha, Wisc., following a 
long illness. Born in Butman Township March 18, 1908, he was employed at Dow 
Chemical in Midland. He made his home in Gladwin County until he went to 
Kenosha eight years ago at the time of his retirement. Surviving are a son, 
Carl R. of Kenosha, Wisc., two sisters, Mrs. William (Mertie) Cripps of 
Gladwin and Mrs. Wilbur (Mary) Grove of Beaverton. Funeral services were held 
Friday at 2:00 p.m. at the Hall Funeral Home, Gladwin, with the Rev. C. E. 
Howe officiating. Burial was in Ridge Cemetery. [Gladwin County Record dated
