Charles Vernell Anderson, 69, of Beaverton, died suddenly of a heart attack 
Thursday, July 26, at his home. Born in Saginaw July 4, 1904 he came to 
Beaverton in 1959 from Midland, and operated a furniture store until 1962. Mr. 
Anderson and the former Erma Sawvel were married June 27, 1926, in Bay City.
   Surviving are his wife Erma; 2 daughters, Mrs. Betty Jean Lee of Bay City 
and Mrs. Dee (Darleen) Brownell of Midland; and 1 son, William Re. Anderson of 
Auburn; 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Services were held Saturday at 
2:00 p.m. at Hall Funeral Home, Beaverton, with the Rev. Zina Bennett 
officiating, and burial was in Dale Cemetery.
