FORMER BEAVERTON MAN DIES

   Ira Russell Arehart, 77, died in Alpena Saturday, April 4, following an 
illness of one and one-half years. He was born in Homestead, Pa., March 10, 
1882. A carpenter, he moved to Alpena from Beaverton 25 years ago. 
   Survivors include three brothers, Joe of New York, Merle of Ludington, and 
Larry, of Beaverton; three sisters, Miss Anna Arehart of Beaverton, Mrs. Ruby 
Mullett of Mt. Pleasant, and Mrs. Carrie Hildebrand of Nankin, Ohio; and two 
nieces, Mrs. Archie Groves of Pennslyvania, and Mrs. Jessie Rolley, of 
Beaverton. 
   Funeral services were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Hall Funeral Home. The 
Rev. Carl Hilbert officiated and burial was in Dale Cemetery.
