Aylsworth, 84, of Muir and formerly of Gladwin, died Wednesday, April 24, 1996 at the Ionia County Memorial Hospital. Born June 28, 1911 in Cadillac, she resided in Gladwin, Flint and Huntsville, Ala. Mrs. Aylsworth moved to Muir in 1985. She was a life member of the Gladwin Order of the Eastern Star. The former Lillian Graham married Reuben Aylsworth Feb. 11, 1928 in Jackson. He preceded her in death in January 1985. Surviving are 3 daughters, Mildred and husband Gerald Graves of Ionia, Helen and husband Patrick Hopper of Collingsville, Ill., and Nine and husband Robert Mitchell of Huntsville, Ala.; one son, Merle and wife Elsie Aylsworth of Gladwin; one brother, Harry Graham of Middletown, Ohio; one sister, Jane Beebe of Stanton; 16 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; and 9 great-great- grandchildren. Rites were held at 11 a.m. Monday from the Hull Memorial Chapel in Muir. The Rev. Larry Howland officiated and burial was in the Dale Cemetery, Beaverton. An Order of the Eastern Star memorial service was held Sunday at 7 p.m. at the funeral home, where a memorial fund for the wishes of the family may be left.
