The angels came and took Arvilla E. Aylsworth home this day of Feb. 22, 1998. 
Arvilla 82, of Gladwin was born Nov. 24, 1915 in Minneapolis, Minn. to Bert 
and Olive Harwood Pile. She married Gordon Aylsworth, Nov. 14, 1959 in Flint. 
He preceded her in death May 9, 1994. She was a member of the Gladwin Eagles 
#3292 and the College of Regents of Moose Lodge of Flushing #847. 
   Arvilla will be sadly missed by her family of one son, David and wife 
Frances Thompson of Clio; three daughters, Janice and husband Marvin Miller, 
and Sharon and husband Fred Isham, all of Gladwin, and Dorothy and husband 
Marvin Morse of West Branch; one brother, David Pile of Antioch, Calif.; one 
sister, Laverne Meyers of Minneapolis, Minn.; ten grandchildren, David and 
wife Kerry Thompson, Cindy and husband Dave Phaneuf, Cathy Thompson, Carolyn 
Bellent, Marvin and wife Leah Miller, Richard Miller, Terri and husband Jamie 
Latimer, Marvin and wife Sherry Morse, Robin and husband Ralph Nazarin, and 
Michael and wife Christine Morse; and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded 
in death by one son, Richard Thompson, and her first husband, Henry Thompson.
   Services will be held at 11 a.m. today (Wednesday) at the Sisson Funeral 
Home in Gladwin with Pastor Daniel Stoneback officiating. Burial will be in 
the Beaverton City Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Bortz Health Care 
Facility, West Branch, where she was a resident and loved for the past two 
years.
