Aylsworth, 79, of Beaverton, died Monday, May 9, at the Gladwin Nursing Home after a long illness. He was born in Cadillac June 10, 1914, and moved to Beaverton in 1972. He was the past president of the Gladwin Eagles 3292, and was employed by Buick Motors. Mr. Aylsworth married the former Arvilla Pile in Flint Nov. 14, 1959. Surviving are his wife; 4 daughters, Maxine Blackwell of New Hope, Ark.; Janice Miller of Mt. Morris; Dorothy Morse of West Branch; and Sharon Isham of Gladwin; 5 sons, Leslie of Lake Head, Calif.; Gordon of Lock Knee, Texas; Keith of Corpus Christi, Texas; Forest of Charleston, S.C.; and David Thompson of Clio; 19 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Helen Aylsworth. Rites will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. from the Sisson Funeral Home. Pastor Eric Holgram will officiate and burial will be in the Beaverton City Cemetery. An Eagles Memorial will be held tonight, Wednesday, at 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
