BURNS ARE FATAL TO LITTLE GIRL

   Patricia Lynn Babcock, 1, of Beaverton, died last Wednesday at the Gladwin 
Hospital, after she accidently scalded herself with boiling water when she 
crawled into the tub and turned on the water. Coroner Donald Hall said a 
pathologist's report stated she died of adrenal insufficiency caused by first 
and second degree burns.
   Born on May 15, 1964, Patricia is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. 
Sherman Babcock, Beaverton; her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Killian, 
Beaverton, and Mrs. Ina Babcock, of Coleman; one great grandfather, George 
Thompson, of Mancelona.
   Services were held at 3 p.m. Saturday from the Hall Funeral Home. The Rev. 
Gordon Showers officiated and burial was in Dale Cemetery.
