Kenneth E. Baker, 74, of 4286 Pratt Lake Rd., Gladwin, died suddenly Monday, 
April 15, 1991, at his home of a heart attack. Born in Grayling, July 30, 
1910, he moved to Gladwin County in 1946 from Flint. Mr. Baker was employed by 
Dow Chemical Co. for 32 years and retired in 1976. He was a member of the 
Gladwin Church of Christ. Mr. Baker and the former Ada Matney were married 
April 20, 1935, in Mt. Morris. She preceded him in death Jan. 5.
   Surviving are 3 sons, Kenneth, Richard and George of Flint; one brother, 
Willard of Frankenmuth; 17 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. A sister, 
Evelyn Diener, preceded him in death. Services were held today, Wednesday, at 
1 p.m. from the Gladwin Church of Christ. Jay Tyler officiated and burial was 
in the Beaverton Cemetery. Arrangements were in charge of the Sisson-Mathews 
Funeral Home.
