ILLNESS FATAL TO WILLIAM BELL

   William Bell, 65, passed away at the Midland Hospital, September 7, after 
an illness of about a month. William Bell was born in Saginaw on May 18, 1889, 
the son of the late Thomas and Clementine Bell. He had lived on a farm near 
Beaverton since 1892. He was a member of Masonic Lodge No. 453 at Beaverton 
and at the time of his death was a director of the Gladwin County Bank. 
   He is survived by two daughters, Joseph of Beaverton and Gordon of Alameda, 
Calif. Two sisters and three brothers preceded him in death. Funeral services 
will be held at the Hall Funeral Home, Friday, at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be in 
the Beaverton cemetery. The service at the cemetery will be under the auspices 
of the Masonic Lodge of Beaverton.
