Ralph Bergman, 77, of 2855 W. Curtice Road, south of Beaverton, died Tuesday, 
July 25, at Clare Hospital, following a short illness. Born November 12, 1894, 
at Woodland, Mr. Bergman had been a resident of the Beaverton area for many 
years. He was a retired farmer. He and the former Iva L. Mitchell were married 
November 20, 1915, in Gladwin County and she preceded him in death July 9, 
1971.
   Surviving are one son, Pete Bergman of Coleman; two daughters, Mrs. Harry 
(Beryl) Brugger and Mrs. Robert (Vesta) King, both of Coleman; one sister, 
Mrs. Nora Mishler of Coleman; nine grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. 
Services will be held Friday at 1:00 p.m. with the Rev. Zina Bennett 
officiating at the O'Laughlin Funeral Home in Coleman. Burial will be in the 
Dale Cemetery.
