Gladwin County Record, Page 5, Column 3, June 3, 1898
Ethel A., daughter of Mr. And Mrs. Joseph Bitler, died May 30 at their 
residence at Smith Creek, aged one year and six months.  Rev 1. [?].C. 
Smallwood preached the funeral sermon.  The remains were interred at Highland 
Cemetery.
