Jerry A. Blades, 56, of Harrison (since 1995), died suddenly, Saturday, June 
26, 1999 at MidMichigan Medical Center-Clare. Born Oct. 14, 1942 in Beaverton, 
he was a lifetime member of Gladwin County. He worked for Beaverton IGA, and 
was a 32nd degree Mason, Mason Lodge 453.
   He is survived by his mother, Velma Blades of Harrison; four sisters, 
Marian and husband Nick Radakovich of Midland, JoAnn and husband Larry 
McCulloch of Alden, Berniece and husband Solomon Horn of Lennon, and Joyce 
Blades of Mason; one brother, James and wife Laura of Flint; and several 
nieces and nephews.
   He was preceded in death by his father, E. Adrian Blades in 1990, and one 
sister, Judy Blades in 1941. Services will be held at 1 p.m. today (Wednesday) 
at Hall Funeral Home, Beaverton Chapel, with Rev. David Stewart officiating. 
Burial will be in Tobacco Township (Dale) Cemetery.
