Lois M. Blades, 63, of Beaverton, died Saturday, June 7, 1997 at MidMichigan 
Regional Medical Center-Midland after a long illness. Born May 21, 1934 in 
Detroit, she lived in Gladwin County most of her life. The former Lois Bradon 
married Kenneth Blades, July 14, 1953 in Dundee. He preceded her in death Oct. 
8, 1978. She was a homemaker in her own home. She was a member of the R.L.D.S. 
Church in Beaverton and Tops Clubs of Gladwin and Beaverton.
   Surviving are two sons, John and wife Billie, and Glen and wife Lana, all 
of Beaverton; two daughters, Susan Blades of Comstock Park and Sandra and 
husband Randy Sprague of Beaverton; two sisters, Lucille Million of Troy and 
Ferne Stansfield of Grosse Point Woods; and six grandsons.
   Services will be held at 2 p.m. today (Wednesday) at the R.L.D.S. Church in 
Beaverton. Burial will be in Tobacco Township (Dale) Cemetery, Beaverton. 
Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to 
R.L.D.S. Church, Beaverton or Tops.
