MRS. MARY BLOOM BURIES IN DALE

   Funeral services were held from the Dale Church Saturday at 2 p.m. with a 
prayer at the house at 1 p.m. for Mrs. Mary Ellen Bloom, 68, who died suddenly 
at her home in Tobacco township. The Rev. John Scott of the Gladwin Methodist 
church officiated at the services and burial was in the Dale cemetery. Mrs. 
Bloom was born in New Brunswick, Canada on December 17, 1877. She was the wife 
of George Bloom, who preceded here in death in 1926. She had been a resident 
of Gladwin county for more than 30 years. Surviving are her daughter, Mrs. 
Merle Bardwell, of Sanford and a son, Harry Chandler, of Edenville. A son 
Perry Chandler, preceded her in death in 1927.
