Bluntschley, 62, were held this afternoon from the Beaverton Latter Day Saints Church. Elder S. D. Pendleton, pastor of the church, officiated and burial was made in the Beaverton cemetery. Mr. Bluntschley was born in Lenawee County on February 28, 1890. He married Miss Viola Ziegler in Flint in 1921. He has been a resident of Gladwin county for the past 45 years, and passed away at his home in Tobacco township on Saturday afternoon after five months illness. Surviving are his wife, Viola; five sons, C. W. Bluntschly, of Munsey, Indiana, Harvey Bluntschly, of Beaverton, Corbett Bluntschly, recently discharged from the U.S. Army at Anchorage, Alaska, and Gary and Murl, at home; four daughters, Loretta Hall, of Yorkstown, Indiana, Treva Spencer and Opal Bluntschly, of Bay City, and Shirley, at home; two brothers, George Bluntschly, of Adrian and Otis Bluntschly, of North Adams; three sisters, Gertrude Brown, of Beaverton, Flossie Kinzer, of Bear Lake and Arley Moore, of Harbor Beach; two step-sisters, Elsie Bringham, of Harrison and Minnie Green, of Hudson; also four grandchildren. Six of Mr. Bluntschly's nephews acted as pallbearers.
