BLUNTSCHLY Mrs. Viola M. Bluntschly, 72, of Tobacco Township, died Thursday at the Midland Hospital after a short illness. Born on July 1, 1895, in Knox County, Ohio, she had lived most of her life in Gladwin County. The former Viola Ziegler, she married Harry R. Bluntschly in 1921 at Beaverton. He preceded her in death on July 12, 1952. Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Loretta Hall, Beaverton Township, Mrs Treva Spencer, Kawkawlin, Mrs Opal Chambers, Midland, and Mrs. Shirley Plessner, Bay City; four sons, C. W. of Akron, Harvey of Lakeview, Corbit, Beaverton Township and Murl, Kawkawlin; one sister, Mrs. Sarah Martin, Flint; and 25 grandchildren. One son, Jerry, also preceded her in death. Rites were held Saturday at 2 p.m. from the Beaverton R.L. D.S. Church. Elder Willard Pendleton officiated and burial was in the Beaverton Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were in charge of the Hall Funeral Home.
