Gladwin County Record
Joyce E. Bower, 70, of Sanford, Michigan died Oct. 16, 2005 at home. She was 
born in Midland on March 3, 1935 to Clifford and Ina (Martin) Sian. She 
married Donal Bower in Sanford on Dec. 19, 1953; he passed away in 2002. Joyce 
was a homemaker and lived in Gladwin County 20 years, having previously 
resided in Midland. She was a member of the Albright Shores Eagles Club #3655. 

Surviving her are her daughter, Lori (Mark) Doud of Beaverton; her son, Steven 
Bower of Coleman; six grandchildren and eight Great grandchildren; and four 
sisters, Delores, Wilma, Lynn and Lillian. She is predeceased by her husband, 
parents, and daughter, Debra Myers. 

A graveside service was held on Tuesday, Oct. 18 at Arbutus Cemetery in 
Beaverton with Pastor Brad Withrow officiating.
