FUNERAL SERVICES HELD FOR DANIEL D. BROKA

   Funeral services for Daniel D. Broka who died Wednesday night at his home 
one mile south of Beaverton, were held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the M. E. church 
at Beaverton with the Rev. Harold Hodgson officiating. Mr. Broka was born in 
Bowling Green, Ohio. on April 13, 1870. He married Anna E. Ashbrook May 13, 
1908. To them were born 11 children: David of Beaverton, Harold of Alger, Mrs. 
Alma Clore of Gladwin, Mrs. Helen Rousseau of Flint, George, Marie, James, 
Lloyd, Luella, Clara and Norma Jean at home, and one grandchild, Donald Clore.
   He also leaves three brothers and three sisters, William of Dunbridge, 
Ohio, Lewis of Sugar Ridge, Ohio, Tony of Kentucky, Carrie Reader of Zion, 
Illinois, Lydia Otterbecker of Zion, Illinois, Charlotte Eberly of Toledo, 
Ohio.
   The Brokas came to Bay county, Michigan, in 1911; from Ohio, and the 
following year, moved to Gladwin county where they have lived since.
