Gladwin County Record dated 11-24/1982 Column - 5 Page - 2  
Betty A. Brown, 63, of 341 Bruce Rd., Beaverton, died Thursday, Nov. 18, in 
the Midland Hospital Center following a long illness. Born in Danville, Ill., 
on July 20, 1919, she moved to Gladwin County 15 years ago. She was a member 
of the Billings Ladies Aid and Alanon in Beaverton and Midland. The former 
Betty Kortkamp, she was married to Brandon Brown on April 29, 1939, in Detroit.
   Surviving besides her husband, are 2 sons, Brandon of Benton Harbor and 
Bruce of Big Rapids; a half sister, Mrs. Sue Thibodeau of Livonia; 2 step-
sisters; Mrs. Edna Webb of Ann Arbor and Mrs Irene O'Neil of Redford; and 7 
grandchildren.
   Services were held Sunday at 1:30 p.m. from the Hall Funeral Home, 
Beaverton Chapel. The Rev. Henry List officiated and burial was in the Dale 
Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
Died in Nov 1982 following a long illness.
