Brown, 84, founder of the Brown Machine Company in Beaverton, died suddenly Wednesday, April 26, at his winter home in Eustis, Fla. Mr. Brown was born December 15, 1887, in Edenville, and was married to the former Miss Lizzie Woodby August 1, 1908, in Edenville. She preceded him in death April 1, 1970. They were residents of Beaverton for many years. Mr. Brown was a member of the Beaverton F. & A.M. Surviving are one son, Gaylord of Beaverton; three brothers, Shirley of Beaverton, Russell of Hope, and Eber, of Saginaw; also one sister, Verna of Texas; two grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Services were held Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at the Hall Funeral Home, Beaverton, with the Rev. Roger Browne offiicating.
