Mrs. Brown, 69, passed away Thursday, Feb. 1, 2001, at her residence following 
a brief illness. She was born on Nov. 11, 1931, in Piqua, Ohio, to the late 
Korah and Mary (Wilkerson) Clingan. She married Eldon Brown on Oct. 24, 1958, 
in Beaverton.
   Surviving besides her husband Eldon are her children, Daniel (Ann) Brown 
and Deborah Mavis, both of Midland, and Trena (Thane) Grove of Gladwin; eight 
grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; two brothers, Walter Clingan of 
Beaverton and James Clingan of Midland and a sister, Gladys (Harold) Freeman 
of Beaverton. She was predeceased by three brothers and one sister.
   Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 5, 2001, at the 
Sisson Funeral Home, Gladwin, with The Rev. Donald Potter presiding with 
burial in Dale Cemetery, Beaverton. Friends may call at the funeral home on 
Sunday from 2 to 8 p.m. and on Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of services. 
   In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials for Hospice of Gladwin.
