Gladwin County Record dated 12-10/1908 Column - 1 Page - 4
Sadie, daughter of James and Sarah Brown of Winegar, died Nov. 30, of typhoid 
fever. She was a member of the Brethren church and was loved and esteemed by 
all who knew her. She leaves four sisters and one brother, besides her father 
and mother to mourn her departure. She was a true Christian, a kind and loving 
daughter and sister, and will be greatly missed. Interment at Dale cemetery. 
The funeral was preached at the Brethren church.
