A. T. BROWN JR. SERVICES TO BE THURSDAY

   A. T. Brown, Jr., 72, long-time Beaverton business man, died at the Gladwin 
Nursing Home on Monday, after an illness of six months. Mr. Brown was born 
November 17, 1887 in Saginaw, but had lived in Gladwin County since the age of 
12 years and was a graduate of Beaverton High School. He married the former 
Miss Elsie Bellinger in 1912.
   Mr. Brown operated an appliance store in Beaverton for 45 years, and was 
also engaged in the real estate busines for many years. Elected by city of 
Beaverton in 1915, he held that office for three years? after at he served as 
a councilman for several years.
   Survivors include his wife, Elsie; one son, Francis, of Saginaw; two 
daughters, Mrs. Viola Fellows of Portland and Mrs. Vesta Haddas, of 
Birmingham; three brothers, Jay of Saginaw, George of Florida and Zack of ___.
   Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Beaverton Methodist 
Church with the Rev. Veste Sommers officiaiting. Burial will be in Beaverton 
cemetery. Mr. Brown will be at the church from 11 a.m. until the time of the 
service. Pallbearers will be Adolph Presido, Donald Ross, David Ross, William 
Stock.?, Cash Carey and Lloyd Broka.
